I miss Linkr in Joomla 1.7

I miss Linkr in Joomla 1.7

I really miss Linkr in my new Joomla 1.7 instillation. While some other editors let you link to articles, none do it as easily and elegantly as Linkr.

Not sure why Linkr has not been modified for 1.7 but I hope it happens!

I agree, Linkr has functionality that JCE and JCK editor don't have - most importantly linking to anchors in other articles

+1 for an upgrade to 1.7!

I joined this forum just to reply saying that there is indeed an interest. I want to use the newest version of joomla, so I am forced not to use this cool extension until it is upgraded. I know I'm not the only one. Plus I'm sure it would get more popular too. cool

I miss it too. Perhaps you can support it via subscriptions? It's such a useful extension. And I absolutely miss it in 1.7.

Hi, Linkr is great and solves the problem which no other Joomla editor has which enables linking to anchors in other articles easily.

My company would be quite happy to take out a subscription if linkr was upgraded to be 1.7 compatible!

I understand the developers point of view that the linking to articles seems redundant, but the other features of Linkr, such as linking to menu items or files and the ability to upload files and create links from within the editor is invaluable. I use Linkr on every project and in fact, I use it more for the functions I just mentioned then linking to articles. It would be a shame to see it die with 1.5 for until Joomla offers the functionality that Linkr provides, I think Linkr is needed.

I definitely agree with all the other speakers!

I also joined just to make my voice heard!

Linkr is one of the "must-have"'s that I have used on ALL Joomla 1.5 sites that I have built!

Please don't let it die now!
