June 19 marked the release of Linkr 2.3.4, which is a bug fix release. It's been over a month since Linkr 2.3.3 was released, and it seemed pretty stable overall. This release is mainly the result of small corrections, performance enhancements and code cleanup.
The main problem (which also affects the Image button) was in Internet Explorer, where links where always inserted at the top when an empty area was clicked before closing Linkr. The second bug (fixed in the patch 2.3.3(a)) involved articles with low Itemids. Both of these and other minor problems have been addressed in this release.
Newer features include:
- Link to HTML anchors inside the article
- Link to specific article pages (pagebreaks)
- New tree layout for menu items
New features in the API includes the LinkrObject and LinkrTree classes.
