Last week, an important bug was reported on the support page. In some cases, Linkr would link to the article section/category instead of the article. Although this is not a security issue, everyone is encouraged to upgrade to the latest version. To apply the patch, download the file called com.linkr.patch-236a and install it through the Joomla! installer (like you would any extension). You should all test it to make sure the bug has been removed.

If you're not using Linkr 2.3.6, you'll need to install it before using the patch. Either use the SuperInstaller to upgrade, then apply the patch (as stated above) or install the individual packages (component, plugin and button) one by one (no need for the patch).

NOTE: Once you've updated Linkr, make sure to clear your cache!
